Major General Thomas Csrnko, commander of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, presents a certificate from the Secretary of the Army to Major John L. Plaster, at the Ft. Bragg, N.C., ceremony inducting him into the Special Forces Hall of Fame. The 22nd Green Beret inducted, Major Plaster was cited for his extensive combat record while serving in covert operations during the Vietnam War, along with his postwar innovative contributions to sniping and sniper instruction, and the series of books he wrote on special operations and sniping, including SOG, The New Ultimate Sniper, and his latest, The History of Sniping and Sharpshooting.
